So you followed Medusa's trail.
In Greek mythology, whoever dared to look at the Medusa turned to stone.
Perseus managed to decapitate the creature by using a mirror,
a gift from the goddess Minerva, to face it indirectly.
I love that myth for several reasons, chief among them the parallel with storytelling.
For me, good stories are mirrors.
They allow us to face our monsters without turning to stone.
And I dedicate my life to making mirrors.
